QHSE Policy
The Management of Al Barq Cement Industry (ABCI) is committed to ensure quality health, safety and environment is maintained throughout Clinkers and Hydraulic Cements Manufacturing, Construction Precast Articles Manufacturing and Semi-Manufactures of Plastic Products Manufacturing.
ABCI strives to achieve high standards on quality health, safety and environment management and is committed to ensure prevention of injury, ill health and will give proper regard to the protection and conservation of the environment, including prevention of pollution and other specific commitments relevant to the context of the organization and continual improvement of the QHSE MS to enhance its performance and commitment for identification of QHSE risk.
We continue to operate in compliance with all relevant and applicable legal requirements and other requirements to which our organization subscribes, which relates to our environmental aspects and OH&S hazards. This includes the nature, scale and environmental impact of our activities, products or services.
QHSE Awareness
We promote QHSE awareness among its employees, trains and encourages them to work in a responsible manner.
Management provides necessary instructions and trainings in the identification, assessment and control of hazards in the workplace.
This policy shall be maintained as documented information, implemented and communicated internally to employees, via Web and posted at strategic places. This Policy is further communicated to relevant interested parties, vendors, sub-contractors, stakeholders, customers and the public as appropriate.
This Policy provides framework for setting QHSE Objectives and targets, monitoring and reviewed during management meetings to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate.
We acknowledge the right of each employee and other personnel operating under Al Barq Cement Industry management to challenge an activity or a condition, which they believe may have a detrimental effect on the environment or the integrity of plant, equipment, personnel and facilities. We will commend employees who justifiably exercise this right. We will consult with employees and ensure provision of such resources, training and support as are deemed necessary to achieve the goals set out. We will enhance employees and wellbeing and periodically review QHSE policy to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate.
It is our endeavor to create a culture of QHSE MS where continuous improvement of our employees, processes and procedures becomes a way of life and A pledge that the institution meets the safety and protection conditions.
Quality Control
The integrated management
system has been organized to
comply with the requirement of
the international standard ISO
9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO
45001:2018.
This system covers the
operations of Al Barq Cement
Industry L.L.C and its sites at any
point of time. Our physical lab is
equipped with state-of-the-art
technologies, and follows British/
European (BS EN) and American
(ASTM) specifications.
